Mini Sessions at the Arizona Worm Farm with Shania Hirdler Photography

As an Arizona family photographer, I am always scouting for new photoshoot locations. I'm passionate about shopping locally and taking care of the environment so I'm always looking for locations that I feel good about sharing with my own family and those I care about.


The Arizona Worm Farm is a hidden gem resting at the bottom of South Mountain. I could write a novel about all the reasons I LOVE this wonderful little business, but I'll send you over to their website here to check it out for yourself. For now, I will share my experience hosting mini sessions in their forest garden in March of 2024. Blooming fruit trees, the scent of fresh lemon in the air, and a backdrop of South Mountain peeking through, it was easy to forget we were just 15 minutes from downtown Phoenix. These families and engaged lovebirds came to find beautiful views and a homey comfortable location to capture these beautiful photos!
