Dear Bride, if you are reading this that means you are embarking on the epic adventure of planning a wedding. I am so freaking excited for you. Please keep in mind that this timeline is meant to be used as a jumping off point and not a final draft. Your wedding day is unique to you and your love story. However, each wedding I have shot has a close variation of the one I've made here.

The most important timeline factors that alter your schedule are the following:

  1. First look during ceremony. You'll need to add more time between your ceremony and reception to fit in couples, family, and bridal party portraits. (I always suggest 30-45 minutes for each of those groupings)
  2. Bridal Party and Family size. More people requires a longer time period. Small groups can both be fit before the ceremony. For bigger families I recommend doing one of the families before and one after the ceremony. It can be overwhelming to have all the aunties of one family standing around while you're trying to get your nephews to look at the camera and stay still. lol
  3. Travel time. If you have a longer drive between wedding + reception space, or want to head somewhere special for portraits you'll need to add time in for travel.

Happy planning you beautiful bride! You are ALWAYS welcome to shoot me an email or message with specific timeline questions.
